Dr. Yuan is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Clinical and Administrative Department of the American University of Health Sciences School of Pharmacy. Specializing in adolescent and adult clinical psychiatry and psychopharmacology, dr. Yuan has extensive pharmacy and pharmacy consulting experience in psychiatric hospitals and retail pharmacies.
As experienced clinical pharmacist dr. Yuan has been working as a pharmacy manager and clinical pharmacist in an inpatient psychiatric hospital for over 11 years. Before working as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital, he had many years of experience working in a retail pharmacy as a pharmacist and pharmacy manager. Dr. Yuan instructed pharmacy technician students, Pharm.D. Pharmacy student and resident of several pharmacy schools for 13 years.
Dr. Yuan has extensive pharmacy management experience in both acute care psychiatric hospitals and retail environments. He is well versed in operations management, clinical protocol development, policy and process development, implementation of best practices, and advancement of pharmacy students/assistants.

Biography – Dr. Fazelboi completed his PhD in Pharmacy from Western Health Sciences University and his MS from the Medical School of Virginia. He is a registered pharmacist in the state of California and also holds an advanced pharmacist license. He is board certified in pharmacotherapy and currently works as a clinical pharmacist at Aurora Charter Oak Hospital in Covina, California. He is also AAHIVP certified and has worked in HIV medicine in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Dr. Hahn brings more than 10 years of social, pharmaceutical management and pharmacotherapy management experience to the School of Pharmacy. Dr. Before joining Hahn, Dr. Hahn has worked closely with independent pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical industry professionals to develop medication management and regulatory compliance approaches. He managed several pharmacies and trained many trainee pharmacists and pharmacists who became successful pharmacy managers. Dr. Hahn is actively involved in educating seniors about medication adherence, chronic conditions and the benefits of Medicare prescription D drugs. They also administer medications at various senior centers. Dr. Han is currently a member of the Korean American Pharmacists Association in California.

Dr. Hossain received his Ph.D. in Pharmacy from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, Texas, and his B.A. in Pharmacy from Kakatiya University, India. Dr. Before joining Hussain, he was a professor of pharmacology at the University of Louisiana and the University of Oklahoma. He has taught a variety of courses to professional pharmacy students and graduates, including pharmacology, compound pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, physical pharmacology, advanced pharmacology and applications, pharmaceutical technology, medical microbiology and biotechnology. He wrote several MS. and Ph.D. students throughout their careers.
Dr. Hossein’s research interests are mainly in the inhalable protein and peptide drug delivery. He is currently investigating ways to improve drug absorption by non-invasive methods in laboratory animals and to understand the macromolecular mechanisms of drug transport in vitro. Dr. Hossein also has a strong interest in student learning and implementing new teaching and learning methods in the classroom and laboratory. Enrolled in 2020, he is actively pursuing a teaching and learning scholarship.
