Christmas and Hanukkah, the eight-day Jewish fire festival, meet this year with Hanukkah taking place from December 18 to 26. Sure, Christmas is December 25th, but you don’t have to wait to start enjoying all the sights and sounds of the holiday.

Saturday is Nashua’s winter holiday. Its 25th annual event kicks off at 5pm. In the Town Hall. More than 30,000 people gather for winter walks every year.
The walk begins with a candlelit procession from City Hall to the Hunt Memorial, approximately half a mile to light the town’s Christmas tree.
The tree lighting is accompanied by more than 60 shows, animatronic animal rides, a wide variety of street vendors, live ice sculpture carvings, and the Nashua New Year’s Light Show.
